Michael Miller is Deputy Director for the Daniel Patrick Moynihan Center and Distinguished Lecturer of Political Science at CCNY. He received his PhD in political science from the City University of New York, where he researched censorship, surveillance, and propaganda in China. He was a 2018–2020 Mellon/ACLS Public Fellow. Before joining CCNY, he was the program director for SSRC’s Just Tech and Media and Democracy.
