Lorena Regattieri
Lori Regattieri is a strategic foresight leader with proven record experience of successful projects in social policy, philanthropy, and sustainable tech. They are a movement builder, organizer, and digital strategist with more than 15 years working in progressive politics, climate social justice, IPLC rights, and LGBTQ+ and queer issues, particularly in Latin America. They have been working with a range of stakeholders, including governments, intergovernmental agencies, academia, foundations, NGOs and CSOs, grassroots organizations, and local communities.
Regattieri earned their PhD in communication and culture at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Over the past years, their research has focused on cybernetics, information theory and computation, digital methods, decolonial, equity and social justice, as well internet laws and policy issues. Regattieri’s work has been published in Tech Policy Press, Contracampo: Brazilian Journal of Communication, Liinc em Revista, the Hypertext’14 Workshop Data Visualisation Workshop, and others.
