Ingrid Burrington writes, makes maps, and tells jokes about places, politics, and the weird feelings people have about both. She’s the author of Networks of New York: An Illustrated Field Guide to Urban Internet Infrastructure. Her writing has appeared in Harper’s, Motherboard, and The Atlantic among other outlets. Ingrid is a senior fellow at USC’s Annenberg Innovation Lab and an alum of fellowship and residency programs at Eyebeam Art and Technology Center, the Center for Land Use Interpretation, and Data and Society Research Institute.
