Yifan Miller
Yifan Miller is a postdoctoral research associate with the Center for Transformative Media at Northeastern University. She received her PhD in organizational communication and technology from The University of Texas at Austin.
Her research focuses on organizational practices that produce knowledge about and shape technology outcomes, advocating for responsible practices in the context of emerging technology and contributing to a more informed and equitable society.
Miller has collaborated with technologists, community members, and government officials on multiple projects through UT Good Systems (Ethical AI Initiative), Texas Robotics Institute, and Texas Institute for a Disaster Resilient Texas. At TIPI, her work has resulted in multiple publications and conference presentations, including her work in Human-Machine Communication, Journal of Contingencies and Crisis Management, Annals of International Communication Association, and Journal of Applied Communication.
